Past Lessons

Past Lessons have a part in all our lives. I haven't posted in awhile, but instead of sharing on this blog the little I knew then, I have been gaining experience throughout the summer to share even more. I not only attended a play, I helped behind the scenes and learned the importance of teamwork. Without the two amazingly patient directors to lead, the smaller children to dance in front of us frantically changing scenes, without the cast working together on stage and helping each other with lines and applying makeup, the play would have fallen apart completely. Its like a food chain. One cast member quits, or one animal species dies out, the whole thing dissolves slowly. It doesn't work without teamwork and reliance on other people. So, I would like to share with you some past lessons you may have forgotten about, starting with the importance of teamwork. Interpret them as deeply or as shallow as you wish.

-Touching a hot stove results in being burned.

-Motherly instincts are always there, it doesn't matter who is in question.

-Forgive and forget and a light will be lit, sparks will fly and hate will say good-bye, a friend will be made or a friendship will be saved, the weight will be lifted and the guilt will be sifted.

-Play in the mud and you'll get dirty.

-Don't play with fire.

-TV is not real
